Editorial standards

How the Journal selects, researches and presents stories.

The Design Growth Journal is committed to clear attribution, factual care and transparent distinctions between independent editorial selection and commissioned work.

01

Selection

Profiles are chosen for relevance, originality, demonstrated professional work and fit with the Journal’s editorial focus. Audience size alone is never the deciding factor.

02

Research and attribution

Published facts are checked against official studio materials, institutional biographies and other reputable sources. Sources and further reading appear with every reported profile.

03

Editorial independence

Complimentary editorial consideration does not guarantee publication. Commissioned profiles or brand stories are identified clearly and do not purchase favorable factual conclusions.

04

Images and credits

We publish relevant work, project photography, archival material or clearly identified editorial reference images. Unrelated stock photography is not used to represent a person or practice. Credits identify the work, photographer and source whenever that information is available; the Journal does not claim ownership, courtesy or direct permission that has not been established.

05

Corrections

Meaningful factual errors are corrected promptly. Requests should identify the article, disputed detail and supporting source.
